A snarl-up along John Zikhali Road in Greyville Durban has left two workers dead and one person critically injured. Exact detail to the cause of the accident is still speculative, however five vehicles were involved in an accident, one veered off the roadway and collided with workers sitting on the side of the roadway to have lunch.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found that a man and a woman had tragically died at the scene due to the extensive injuries that they sustained. A female in her thirties was in a critical condition, paramedics stabilised her at the scene and after placing her on a ventilator, she was taken to a specialised facility for the care that she required.
