A rollover accident along Brickhill Road in Durban has left one person dead and two seriously injured. A report from the scene indicate that two vehicles collided at around 01h00 this morning, a convertible with three people then veered off the road, smashed through a palisade fence, and rolled its twisted remains coming to rest on the George Campbell school field.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the occupants had been ejected from the vehicle. After triaging the injured it was found that a female had sustained life threatening injuries while two others was seriously injured. Medics worked fervently to resuscitate the critically wounded patient , tragically despite their effort she was declared dead at the scene.
After paramedics treated the injured at the scene they transported them to various hospitals for the care that they required.
