Four people were injured following an accident involving two vehicle on Old Main Road in Hillcrest earlier today.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found that two vehicles sustained frontal damage during the collision. Exact detail surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
Upon assessment of the occupants, paramedics found that one person from one of the vehicles sustained minor to moderate injuries during the accident. The injured patient was treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
The driver of the second vehicle was found to have sustained serious injuries, while a passenger and seven-year-old boy sustained minor to moderate injuries. All three injured occupants were also treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
