A truck driver sustained serious injuries after his truck plunged off a bridge at the N1 N14 interchange in the zwatrkop area this afternoon. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the truck had smashed through the bridge, causing it to become unstable as the concrete railing was dislodged.
