A man tragically lost his life following a pedestrian accident on Modderfontein Road in Founders Hill last night.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the pedestrian accident and preceding events are still unclear and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
Reports from the scene indicate that the man was knocked over by a motor vehicle and shortly after than another vehicle also drove over the pedestrian lying on the roadway.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found he lifeless body of a man believed to be in his thirties lying on the slow lane of Modderfontein Road. While paramedics were still busy assessing the pedestrian, a third vehicle drove through the incident scene and also drove over the pedestrian.
No other people were injured during the incident.
