Three people were injured following an accident on the R501 Albert Luthuli Drive near Goud Street in Dassierand, Potchefstrrom last night.
Netcare 911 paramedics received the call for assistance at 22h46 and upon arrival at the scene found that a motor vehicle crash against the side of a minibus. Most of the occupants of the minibus were standing around the vehicle and upon assessment of all the occupants from both vehicles, found that three people sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious during the crash.
The injured patients were treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
