Vehicle leaves road injuring three North of Fourways

Three men were left injured this morning when a light motor vehicle left the road on the Cedar Road near the Klein Juskei Bridge, North of Fourways.

When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, the found Life Healthcare paramedics, along with other services, on scene busy assessing the patient.

On assessment, paramedics discovered that one man had sustained serious injuries while two others had escaped with minor injuries.

Paramedics treated the patients and provided the seriously injured patient with advanced life support interventions to stabilise his vital signs.

Once stable, the critically injured patient was airlifted by the ER24 Helicopter to a nearby hospital fur urgent medical attention.

The two other patients were treated for their injuries and thereafter transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical treatment.

The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
