Paramedics and emergency services, including KZN EMS have responded to Marine Drive at Ramsgate, on the KZN south coast, where there has been a crash involving a truck and a car.
Paramedics treated three patients at the scene. Two patients had sustained serious injuries, while the third had only minor injuries. The patients were stabilized at the scene before being transported to hospitals in the area, for continued medical care.
The crash occurred on a bridge and the vehicles, were both several damaged and crumpled, the road had to be closed due to the obstruction that had been caused.
The police were also at the scene of the crash and are investigating the circumstances resulting in the crash.
