A man tragically lost his life following a pedestrian accident on the R40 Madiba Drive in Nelspruit late yesterday afternoon.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found a man lying on the roadway. Upon assessment of the injured man, paramedics found that the man had sustained critical injuries after being knocked over by a vehicle.
The critically injured man was treated at the scene and rushed to hospital for the urgent medical care that he required. Sadly the man passed away shortly after arrival at the hospital due to the extensive injuries sustained during the accident.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the pedestrian accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
The occupants of the vehicle was not injured during the accident.
