Nine injured in crash near Port Shepstone

Nine patients have been injured in a crash, on the St Faiths road, in near Port Shepstone.

Paramedics from KZN Emergency Medical Services earlier this afternoon responded to a crash on the St Faith’s road in the Oshabeni area, where a bakkie, reportedly over turned. A total of nine patients were injured in the crash. One of the injured had sustained critical injuries.

The patients were stabilized at the scene by paramedics from KZN EMS and a private ambulance service, before being transported to Port Shepstone hospital for continued medical care.

The police were also at the scene of the crash and are investigating the circumstances resulting in the crash.
