A crash, where a bakkie has overturned has resulted in one person being killed and twelve others sustaining injuries. The incident has occurred, the road between Nkonjeni and Mhlahlane, in the Zululand district in northern KZN.
Paramedics from KZN Emergency Medical Services responded to the crash and when they arrived, they found that sadly one person had been killed.
One of the patients had sustained critical injures and paramedics worked frantically to stabilize this patient. The patients were taken to Nkonjeni hospital, for continued medical care.
The exact cause of the crash is subject to police investigation and comment.
