A female was seriously injured in an accident along Achilles Street, Olympus Pretoria this morning at around 07h56. A report from the scene indicate that the vehicle went out of control after the wet conditions left an ice layer on the road, the vehicles veered off the road and collided with a wall.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that a mother and three minors were traveling in the vehicle . The crumpled remains came to rest balancing on a brick wall, after triaging the injured it was found that the driver had sustained serious injuries while the children escaped uninjured.
After medics stabilised the female at the scene they transported her to a local hospital for the care that she required.
