Montague Police are seeking the assistance of the public in tracing a suspect known as Johan Jansen or Johan Mentz who is wanted for a fraud case.
According to the information the suspect sold a car to a complainant in Montagu for R12 000.00 on 20 April 2015. On 27 April 2015 the suspect came back to do alleged repairs on the car. On 28 April 2015 at about 10:00 the suspect allegedly told the complainant that he had to purchase parts for the vehicle upon which he left with the car and never returned.
The suspect is a 32-year-old man, 1.8 m tall and have brown eyes.
