Six people were injured in a head on collision between a taxi and car in Inanda Road, near Waterfall, Hillcrest, this evening.
When ER24 paramedics, VEMA paramedics as well as Community Emergency Medical Support (CEMS) and other services arrived on scene they found the taxi against a tree. It went down an embankment and crashed into the tree.
The car was still on the road.
Patients were assessed by paramedics. Five of them sustained moderate injuries and one sustained minor injuries.
They were treated and transported to the R K Khan Hospital for further medical care.
The exact cause of the collision is unknown however authorities were on scene for further investigations.
