Six people were left injured this morning after a taxi was rear-ended by a flat-bed truck this morning on Baden Powell Drive between Muizenburg and Strandfontein in the Western Cape.
ER24 paramedics and Metro services were called to the scene, and on their arrival, they found both vehicles parked on either side of the road.
On assessment, paramedics found that six patients from the taxi had sustained minor injuries in the collision. Fortunately no-one had sustained any serious injuries.
Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and thereafter transported them to Lotus Day Hospital for further treatment.
Fortunately no-one from the flat-bed truck sustained any injuries.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but is subject to investigations by local authorities.
