Three injured after multiple vehicle collision on busy Umhlanga Rocks Drive

Three people have been left with minor injuries only after a taxi and two light motor vehicles collided on Durban North’s busy Umhlanga Rocks Drive this evening.

Crisis Medical paramedics arrived on scene to find the injured climbing out of the damaged vehicles.

Two commuters from the minibus taxi and one passenger from a light motor vehicle were treated on scene for minor injuries before being taken to a nearby hospital for further assessment.

Traffic was severely affected as the road way remained partially closed to allow emergency services space to work.

The cause of the incident is unclear and the necessary authorities will investigate further.
