Two men are in a critical condition this morning after their vehicles collided head-on on the Maraisburg Road in Bosmont, west of Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics from the Johannesburg West branch arrived on scene and found the two bakkies lying in the middle of the two lanes.
On assessment, paramedics found that both drivers had sustained critical injuries in the collision.
Paramedics carefully removed the patients from the vehicle before they were treated by advanced life support paramedics.
Once treated, they were immobilised and transported to Flora Hospital for urgent medical treatment.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
