Four people were injured during a crash on the R21 north bound between the N1 and Nellmapius Road in Cornwall Hill in Centurion this morning at around 03h00.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that two vehicles were involved in the rear-end crash.
Upon assessment of the occupants from the vehicles, paramedics found that the occupants from one of the vehicles sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. The man, woman and two children were treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
The occupants from the other vehicle were not injured during the crash and did not require hospitalisation.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the crash and preceding events remains the subject of a police investigation.
