Crash victim evacuated after collision into wall in Cosmos City

Just before 6am this morning A01, RV06 and RV03 responded to a MVA on Sierra Leone Avenue in Cosmos City.

On arrival paramedics found that a vehicle had collided with a wall, leaving the occupants seriously injured.

One of the patients sustained a serious head injury and required Advanced Life Support interventions.

RV03 decided to call in a medical helicopter due to the severity of the patient’s injuries.

The critical patient was flown to hospital and another occupant who sustained moderate injuries was transported by A01 to a near-by hospital for further care.

JMPD were on-scene to investigate the cause of the collision.
