Eight people have been left with moderate injuries in a collision between a light motor vehicle and a minibus taxi on Inanda Road, Newlands this evening.
Crisis Medical along with other services arrived on scene to find eight people had sustained moderate injuries in the crash.
All were treated and stabilized on scene before being transported by ambulance to various receiving hospitals nearby.
Traffic was severely affected during the peak rush hour, and the necessary authorities were on scene to assist.
The cause of the collision is unknown and the local authorities will investigate further.
