Five people were injured during a rollover accident on the R101 north bound between Hammanskraal and Wonderboom late last night.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found that a minibus had left the roadway and overturned several times, coming to a standstill on its side on a rocky surface.
Upon assessment of the occupants, paramedics found that five people had sustained various injuries ranging from minor to serious.
The injured patients were treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the rollover accident and preceding events are unclear and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
