One person was seriously injured following a rollover accident on the N2 north bound near the Tongaat Toll Plaza.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found a vehicle had left the road way, overturned and came to a standstill on the field area next to the roadway.
Upon assessment of the occupant, paramedics found that the driver sustained serious injuries during the rollover accident. The injured patient was treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the rollover accident and preceding events are still unknown and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
