A man is in a critical condition following a pedestrian accident at the intersection of Jacobson Drive and Lynnwood Road in Lynnwood Ridge, Pretoria this afternoon.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found a man lying on the roadway after he was knocked over by a vehicle. Upon assessment of the newspaper vendor, believed to be in his sixties, paramedics found that the man had sustained critical injuries during the pedestrian accident.
The injured man was treated at the scene and transported to hospital for the urgent medical care that he required.
