A man and a woman were treated for burn wounds earlier this evening.
The pair was found on Old Main Road in Pinetown. When ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene they found the woman lying on the side of the pavement and the man in the centre island.
They were assessed and found to have sustained severe burns. The were treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.
The exact cause of what led to the pair sustaining burn wounds is unknown. Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
