One person sustained severe injuries and another sustained minor injuries in a collision between a bakkie and truck on the R71 between Letsitele and Gravelotte earlier today.
ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found a truck on its roof.
The badly damaged bakkie was a few metres away.
The driver of the bakkie was still sitting in the vehicle. He was assessed and found to have sustained multiple injuries. He was provided with advanced life support treatment before being transported to hospital for further medical care.
The truck driver was assessed and found to have sustained minor injuries. He was also treated and transported to hospital.
The exact cause of the collision is unknown however authorities were on scene for further investigations.
