A man in his 50 was killed this afternoon while driving his motorbike on Pomona Road in Kempton Park, East of Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the motionless driver lying in the middle of the road. The motorbike lay in pieces at least 50 metres away.
Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had already succumbed to his multiple fatal injuries. Nothing more could be done for the patient.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
