Earlier this morning KZN Emergency Medical Services paramedics in the Amajuba district, responded to a crash on the R34, towards Utrecht. The crash reportedly involved a single light motor vehicle.
When the paramedics assessed the scene they found that sadly a man had died during the crash. He was the only occupant of the vehicle.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances which resulted in the crash.
With no prejudice to this crash motorists are urged to please be extremely cautious while driving, especially on wet roads, motorists must:
- Slow down
- Increase following distance
- Switch head lights on
- Make sure all the occupants of a vehicle are buckled up
