Two men were injured following a pedestrian accident on Daisy Street near Grayston Drive in Sandown, Sandton this morning.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found that a pedestrian was knocked over by a motorcycle.
Upon assessment of the two men, paramedics found that the fifty-eight-year-old pedestrian sustained minor to moderate injuries during the accident and after receiving treatment at the scene, the injured man was transported to hospital for further medical care.
The motorcyclist also sustained minor to moderate injuries during the accident and was transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the pedestrian accident and preceding events are unclear at this stage and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
