Earlier this morning KZN Emergency Medical Services paramedics responded to the Ndwedwe main road in the Ilembe district, where seven people were injured when a car reportedly overturned and then crashed into them.
The group of people had been standing on the side of the road, waiting for transport. The injured included occupants of the vehicle.
Two of these patients were critically injured while the other patients had sustained serious and minor injuries. The injured patients were transported by paramedics to Osindisweni hospital for continued medical care.
The police are investigating the exact cause of the crash
