Gauteng police arrested four suspects, aged 24 to 35 years, after a silver BMW suspected of having been used in an armed robbery in Mayfair was spotted at premises in Hillcrest.
SAPS and Ekurhuleni Metro Police arrested two suspects in Hillcrest and two others at a house in Mayfair where an AK47 rifle, a 9mm pistol, ammunition, a jamming device and four registration plates were seized.
The four will appear in court shortly.
