The crash involved a single light motor vehicle, a single cab bakkie and it has occurred on the P200 road between Gamalahke and Margate, on the KZN South coast. The bakkie, reportedly left the road and crashed into a ditch on the side of the road.
Paramedics from several ambulance services, including KZN EMS, treated three patients, who had been occupants of the vehicle and found that two patients, both females, had sustained serious injuries and that a third patient, a man had sustained only minor injuries.
Paramedics from a private ambulance service transported the patients to hospital.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances resulting in the crash.
