A man died after a truck overturned on the N3 Durban bound before Shongweni earlier today.
It is understood the truck went through the armco barrier and rolled numerous times down an embankment.
When ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene they found the badly damaged truck down the embankment and a man, believed to be the truck driver, lying a few metres away.
The man was assessed and it was found that he had unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. He sustained multiple injuries. He was declared dead.
The exact cause of the incident is unknown. Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
