A woman, believed to be in their forties, was killed this morning after she lost control of her vehicle causing it to roll on the R53 10 kilometres outside of Potchefstroom, Gauteng.
Paramedics from the ER24 Carletonville and Potchefstroom branch arrived on scene and found the light motor vehicle lying off to the side of the road, lying on its side.
On assessment, paramedic found the lifeless body of the driver lying 20 metres away from her vehicle. Unfortunately the woman had already succumbed to her fatal injuries when she was ejected from the vehicle.
Nothing more could be done for the patient and she was declared dead on scene.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
