A man was injured during an accident on the N12 towards Alberton near the R59 in Alberante, Alberton this morning just after 07h00.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found a twenty-seven-year-old motorcyclist lying on the roadway after the man came off his motorcycle.
Upon assessment of the man, paramedics found that the man had sustained serious injuries during the accident.
The injured man was treated at the scene and transported to hospital for the medical care that he require, under the care of an advanced life support paramedic.
