A man was injured during a pedestrian accident on the R55 near Lochner Road in Raslouw, Centurion this morning.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found a man lying on the side of the road after he was knocked over by a motor vehicle.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the pedestrian accident and preceding events are unclear and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
Upon assessment of the twenty-year-old man, paramedics found that he had sustained moderate injuries during the accident. The man was placed on a trauma board, treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
