Four people were injured during an accident on the R573 in Kameeldrift last night.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found that two vehicles were involved in a partial head-on collision.
Upon assessment of all the occupants found that one person was in a critical condition, one person sustained serious injuries and two people sustained minor to moderate injuries.
The Netcare1 helicopter was activated to airlift the critically injured patient to hospital for the urgent medical care required.
The other three patients were treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care and treatment.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the collision and preceding events remains the subject of a police investigation.
