Seven workers were injured, three critically so, after a vehicle rolled along the K43 in Lenasia South this afternoon. Exact detail to the cause of the accident is still speculative however, reports indicate that the vehicle collided with a pole and then overturned its twisted frame coming to rest in the veldt.
Netcare 911 paramedics their rescue unit and several services arrived at the scene and found that three people sustained critical injuries while four sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor. Paramedics treated all the injured at the scene before transporting them to various hospitals for the care that they required.
