A man died after he was knocked down by a truck on the N3 in the Sand River Valley area in KwaZulu-Natal late last night.
When ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene they assessed the man and found that he had sustained severe injuries.
Unfortunately there was nothing paramedics could do for him.
He had succumbed to his injuries, which included severe head injuries. He was declared dead.
The truck driver was uninjured but was shocked following the incident.
It is believed the man was walking on the road when he was knocked.
Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
