A man is in a critical condition after his vehicle overturned on the Seaslopes off ramp from the R61 in Margate this morning at around 03h30. Exact detail to the cause of the accident is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the critically wounded man had been ejected from the wreckage and was found in the drainage area next to the roadway with life threatening injuries. Paramedics worked fervently at the scene to stabilise the man before transporting him to a local hospital for the care that he required.
