A woman is in a critical condition following a pedestrian accident at the intersection of Atterbury Road and Solomon Mahlangu Drive in Garsfontein, Pretoria this morning.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found a woman lying on the roadway after she was knocked over by a vehicle. Reports from the scene indicate that the woman was trying to cross the roadway when she was knocked over by the vehicle.
Upon assessment, paramedics found that the thirty-nine-year-old woman had sustained critical injuries during the accident.
The critically injured woman was treated at the scene and rushed to hospital for the urgent medical care that she required under the care of an advanced life support paramedic.
