A man, believed to be in his thirties, has tragically lost his life during a rollover accident on Lion Street near Wierda Road in Eldoraigne, Centurion last night
Netcare 911 paramedics were called for assistance just after 21h00 and upon their arrival at the scene they found that a motor vehicle had left the roadway, overturned several times and came to a standstill in the field area next to the road.
Upon investigation of the occupants inside the crumpled remains of the vehicle, paramedics found that a man had died prior to their arrival due to the extensive injuries sustained during the rollover accident. Sadly there was nothing further that could be done for the man and he was declared dead at the scene.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the rollover accident and preceding events are unclear and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
