Two people were injured after two vehicles collided at the intersection of Queen Nandi Drive and Malandela Road this evening at around 19h25. A report from the scene indicates that the one vehicle had overturned on impact and came to rest on its roof in the intersection. Exact detail to the cause of the accident however will remain a subject for police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics and the fire services arrived at the scene and found the roadway obstructed with accident debris and the twisted frames of the vehicles, the patients were found outside their vehicles. After medics treated the injured at the scene, they transported them to a local hospital for the care that they required.
