Yesterday Police were conducting an operation around 17:00 when they received a tip off from the community that there was a passenger in a taxi from Alexandra to Seabe coming to deliver dagga near Eddies Shop in Mpumalanga.
When the taxi stopped, a woman of 59 years alighted from the taxi holding two big shopping bags. The Police approached her and introduce themself and requested to search her and the bags. They found eleven plastic bags full of dagga to the estimated street value of R20 000-00.
The women was arrested for possession of dagga and she was taken to Mmametlhake SAPS She is expected to appear at Mbibane Magistrate Court.
