2 Injured in collision in Berea

Two drivers were lucky to escape with minor injuries after a head on collision on Currie Road and Mansfield Road on Friday afternoon around 3:30pm.

Rescue Care paramedics arrived on the scene to find that two vehicles had collided in a partial head on collision before one of the vehicles rolled colliding with a stationary vehicle. Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that both of the drivers had fortunately sustained minor injuries. They were treated on scene before being transported to a nearby private hospital for a further check up.

At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.

Traffic was severely affected as Currie Road was closed whilst emergency personal worked to clear the scene.
