20 people were injured in a collision between a taxi and a car on the N14 in Kathu this morning.
ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found several patients sitting on the side of the road as well as one patient who was trapped in the car.
The patient in the car, the driver who had to be extricated, was assessed and found to have sustained moderate injuries.
All other patients were assessed and found to have sustained minor to moderate injuries.
Patients were treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.
The exact cause of the collision is unknown however authorities were on scene for further investigations.
