Crisis Medical paramedics attended to a motor vehicle collision on Umhlanga Rocks Drive near the popular Gateway shopping mall in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A twenty six year old female driver sustained moderate injuries after losing control of her Nissan NP200 bakkie, colliding into a palm tree.
She was treated and stabilized on scene before being taken to hospital for further care.
The local authorities were on scene and will investigate the incident further.
