A man believed to be in his thirties has been left with moderate injuries after he was struck by a light motor vehicle on the M4 near to Sibaya Casino late Saturday night.
Crisis Medical paramedics arrived on scene to find the man lying on the road way having sustained a head injury. Intermediate life support care was required to stabilize him before he was placed on to a specialized stretcher and taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care.
Eyewitnesses allege the driver of the light motor vehicle failed to stop after the incident.
The South African Police Services were on scene and are investigating further.
