Three people have tragically died while one sustained minor injuries after a vehicle overturned on the M10 in Snake Valley Pretoria this evening at around 20h20. A report from the driver is that a B M W crashed into the rear of their vehicle, the vehicle then left the road and rolled its crumpled remain a coming to rest in the veldt about fifty meters from the roadway .
Netcare 911 paramedics and the fire services arrived at the scene and found that two females and a man had been ejected from the vehicle and tragically died due to the extensive injuries that they sustained. The driver miraculously escaped from the wreckage with minor injuries but did not require any medical care.
The B M W was not at the scene at the time that the emergency services arrived. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
