Twelve people were injured after a taxi and a car collided at the intersection of William Nicol and Bryanston Roads in Bryanston at around 23h40. Exact detail to the cause of the accident is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics and their rescue unit arrived at the scene and after triaging found that twelve people had sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor. After medics treated the patients at the scene, they transported them to various hospitals in the area for the care that they required.
