A biker has sustained serious injuries after colliding with a car on Friday evening around 6pm at the corner of Sparks Road and Brickfield Road.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived on the scene to find the seriously injured biker on the roadway. Advanced Life Support intervention was needed to stabilize the man who had sustained serious fractures before he was transported by Rescue Care to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however it is alleged that a vehicle turned in front of the biker which then led up to the collision. SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
